Notice of Data Breach

On November 22, 2023 Inline Plastics Corp., (“Inline”) is notifying individuals about an incident during which an unauthorized party accessed and/or acquired certain files from portions of Inline’s network between April 16, 2023, and April 22, 2023. Inline is providing impacted individuals with information about the incident, the services being made available to them, and/or steps they can take to protect themselves from misuse of their information. Inline continues to take significant measures to protect personal information.

Inline recently experienced a data security incident where certain personal data was involved. Upon experiencing unauthorized network activity, Inline commenced a prompt and thorough investigation with outside cybersecurity professionals who regularly investigate and analyze these types of incidents. Inline devoted considerable time and effort to assess the extent and scope of the incident and to determine what information may have been accessible to the unauthorized individuals. Following this investigation, Inline discovered on October 25, 2023 that certain data that was potentially involved contained some personal information and/or protected health information, including names along with one or more of the following: Social Security numbers, dates of birth, diagnoses, treatment information, and/or health insurance information. Not all information was impacted for all individuals.

Out of an abundance of caution, Inline notified individuals whose information was potentially involved. Inline mailed notification to all individuals via U.S. mail on November 22, 2023. Notified individuals may take steps to protect themselves including placing a fraud alert/security freeze on their credit files, obtaining free credit reports, and remaining vigilant in reviewing financial account statements, explanation of benefits statements, and credit reports for fraudulent or irregular activity on a regular basis. In addition, individuals who may have had their Social Security number involved are encouraged to enroll in complimentary credit monitoring services provided in the notification letter.
