Salt Lake City, Utah – September 2026 – Inline Plastics’ Salt Lake City manufacturing facility has been named a finalist in the prestigious 2026 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards, one of North America’s most respected manufacturing excellence competitions. The facility was selected as one of only six finalists recognized for exceptional operational performance, leadership, employee engagement, quality, and continuous improvement.

The IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards recognize manufacturing facilities that demonstrate world-class performance through operational excellence, innovation, workforce development, and customer focus.

“This recognition reflects the dedication, passion, and commitment of our entire team,” said Jim Parker, Director of Corporate Quality & Operational Excellence. “Being named a finalist validates the culture of safety, quality, customer focus, and continuous improvement that drives our success every day.”

The finalist designation highlights the facility’s ongoing efforts to advance manufacturing performance through employee engagement, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, process optimization, and a relentless focus on operational excellence.

“This achievement belongs to every member of our Salt Lake City team,” said Rob Bond, Plant Manager. “While we are honored by this recognition, we remain focused on continuous improvement and delivering exceptional value to our customers.”

This recognition further reinforces Inline Plastics’ commitment to manufacturing excellence. The company’s Shelton, Connecticut facility was previously recognized as a finalist in the 2017 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards.
